Indiana Lifeline Law<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

“The Lifeline Law provides immunity for the crimes of public intoxication, minor possession, minor consumption, and minor transport to persons who reveal themselves to law enforcement while seeking medical assistance for a person suffering from an alcohol-related health emergency.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aaron’s Law & Overdose Good Samaritan Law<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

“Across the state of Indiana, an individual administering Naloxone (Narcan) to a person who has overdosed is protected under the law so long as they “act in good faith” do not display “gross negligence or willful misconduct,” and they attempt to summon EMS.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Underage Drinking<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The legal drinking age in Indiana is 21. If you are younger than 21 you can be charged with a crime for drinking, holding, or even being in the same car as alcohol. If you are 21 or over, you can be charged with a crime for selling, buying, or giving alcohol to a minor. <\/p>\n\n\n
