{"id":2518,"date":"2014-05-08T15:03:56","date_gmt":"2014-05-08T19:03:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.indianatech.edu\/?post_type=news&#038;p=2518"},"modified":"2024-05-24T11:01:07","modified_gmt":"2024-05-24T15:01:07","slug":"indiana-tech-partners-heartland-bachelors-degree-program","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.indianatech.edu\/news\/indiana-tech-partners-heartland-bachelors-degree-program\/","title":{"rendered":"Indiana Tech Partners with Heartland Payment Systems on Bachelor\u2019s Degree Program"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Fort Wayne, Ind. \u2013<\/strong>Indiana Tech has formed a partnership with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.heartland.us\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Heartland Payment Systems<\/a> that will allow Heartland employees to earn a bachelor\u2019s degree in business administration on-site at the Heartland Service Center in Jeffersonville, Ind.<\/p>\n<p>The partnership is part of Heartland University, a program developed to enable employees to pursue a college education in a convenient format. The Indiana Tech degree program will be offered through the <a href=\"https:\/\/cps.indianatech.edu\">College of Professional Studies<\/a>, which provides programs in a format designed to accommodate adult students who also have to balance work, family, and community responsibilities.<\/p>\n<p>Benefits of the College of Professional Studies program format include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Classroom-based courses that are just five weeks long and meet one evening per week<\/li>\n<li>Online courses that also span just five weeks but allow students to access materials and complete coursework anytime, anywhere with broadband Internet access<\/li>\n<li>The flexibility of combining online and classroom-based courses as needed<\/li>\n<li>Textbook rental included in the cost of tuition, with books shipped to students prior to the start of each class<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"class_list":["post-2518","news","type-news","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v24.2 -
