Dr. Alicia Wireman, associate professor of communication, was named the winner of Indiana Tech\u2019s 2023 Leepoxy Award for Teaching Innovation.<\/p>\n
Dr. Wireman received her award during Indiana Tech\u2019s convocation ceremony on Aug. 29. During the presentation, she was recognized for:<\/p>\n
\u201cIndiana Tech’s College of Arts and Sciences is so blessed to have Dr. Wireman serve in so many ways in our college. She is a role model to others for how to grow a program that is well-connected to industry,” said Dr. Anne Gull, dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. “She is also a great role model to students. As a lifelong learner herself, she continues to educate herself with the latest trends and technology in the communication field so she can share these with her students.\u201d<\/p>\n
