{"id":155504,"date":"2023-04-28T11:46:55","date_gmt":"2023-04-28T15:46:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.indianatech.edu\/?post_type=news&#038;p=155504"},"modified":"2023-04-28T11:46:55","modified_gmt":"2023-04-28T15:46:55","slug":"indiana-tech-to-host-evolve-womens-leadership-program-may-18-19","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.indianatech.edu\/news\/indiana-tech-to-host-evolve-womens-leadership-program-may-18-19\/","title":{"rendered":"Indiana Tech to host EVOLVE Women&#8217;s Leadership Program, May 18-19"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Indiana Tech\u2019s Center for Executive Leadership and Entrepreneurship invites women to take part in an immersive two-day experience that is designed to enhance their leadership effectiveness.<\/p>\n<p>The EVOLVE Women&#8217;s Leadership Program will take place on May 18 and 19, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., in the Snyder Academic Center&#8217;s Multi-Flex Theater, on the Indiana Tech campus in Fort Wayne. All educational sessions will be presented by faculty from Indiana Tech&#8217;s College of Business faculty and will include topics like emotional intelligence, strengths-based leadership, power and influence and leading change efforts. During the program, participants will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Learn more about themselves and how they of interact with others.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate and reflect on their strengths and weaknesses.<\/li>\n<li>Explore how they can use this knowledge to become a better leader and prepare for higher levels of responsibility within their organizations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The cost of the program is $1,600, which includes breakfast, lunch and snacks both days, educational materials, a certificate of completion and access to the Strengths Finders leadership test.
