Indiana Tech will begin offering a Bachelor of Science in emergency response management when its College of Professional Studies courses resume on Sunday, July 26. This particular CPS degree program is being offered entirely online.<\/p>\n
A degree in emergency response management will provide students with the knowledge and skills needed in emergency planning, prevention, mitigation, response and recovery. These skills are in demand by a wide range of employers, including:<\/p>\n
\u201cIn an unpredictable world, you need to have skilled professionals that are not only proficient at responding to emergent situations, but have the foresight to help prevent crises from happening,\u201d said Dr. Jeffrey Zimmerman, dean of Indiana Tech\u2019s College of Business. \u201cOur emergency response management program will equip students with a skill set that will help them accomplish both.\u201d<\/p>\n
Indiana Tech\u2019s College of Professional Studies gives busy, working adults a convenient way to complete their undergraduate and graduate degrees. A CPS academic year is comprised of nine sessions and five- and six-week courses. This format gives students easy, yearlong access into the program, makes rapid progress achievable and allows them to build momentum toward the completion of their degree. Our CPS program offers career-focused degrees that are in high demand and will give students an advantage when they are ready to take that next step in their career.<\/p>\n
